Educators will tour City Roots, South Carolina's first urban farm, learning about the farm's field crops, flowers, greenhouse microgreens, mushrooms, and sustainable farming methods. Educators will also experience the coinciding on-site farmers market, getting a chance to meet other local farmers and vendors to learn more about local food field to fork. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the market.
