Details: This FREE two-part event will begin at 3pm with a seminar led by SC Forestry Commission employees, who will teach participants about about fire ecology, wildland firefighting practices, and how fire is used as a management tool for forest landowners.

Following the seminar (around 4pm), participants will be invited to share program updates and network with fellow environmental educators during the traditional round robin "meetup" format. Come prepared to announce any program dates, opportunities for partnership, or information requests (max 5 minutes per person).  Following the round-robin, educators can mix-and-mingle over refreshments.
