Come visit Locklair’s Permaculture Homestead, where they work with nature and not against it. You’ll see a fully functional food forest and learn about polyculture, a sophisticated irrigation system fueled by swales to manage rainwater, and other means of working with nature, such as “chop and drop”, living and wood chip groundcovers, companion planting, using shrubs as windbreaks, and more. We will have a short meetup to introduce ourselves and mention any news and opportunities we might have.
